hi my imac (intel) seems to have a hdd issue, i have tried running a repiar via the install disk (cannot start up via hdd) but the repair fails, most of my stuff is on an external drive, but there are some photos that are on the hdd still, is it possible to recover the files before re-formmating the disk? is this something you offer?cheersbarrie

i need a repair on my apple macbook, it is 4 years old and is out of warranty. the laptop runs fine but the problem is with the screen, the desktop is barely visable and it is only altered very slightly when the brightness is turned up to full.im not sure if it is something simple like a loose connection because when the laptop is opened it has a normal clear screen for a minute or so and then it dims.could you please let me know if you think this is a simple repair or something more complicated? also how much is the charge to have the repair done from work or home?
